Lionel, Noel and a Green Sheep's snot . . . .

Hello.......is it me you're looking for?

Earlier this morning, listening to a CD, not loud, just on in the background.
Something made The B's ears prick up.
"Who's singing that song?" he asked.
"Noel Gallagher," I replied.
He took a moment to process this information.
"Put Lionel Richie on," he said.
No accounting for taste, I suppose.
I'm being facetious here, because I don't mind admitting that I too like a little Lionel in the mornings. It beats the alternative.
That, the song The B spent the post-breakfast period performing, a number that he claims to have penned himself.
It goes something like this (to the tune of Baa Baa Black Sheep):
"Baa Baa Green Sheep, have you any snot?
"Yes sir, yes sir, loads and loads,
"Some on my finger and some up my nose,
"And some in my tummy, that's where it grows."
I suspect that this is not, as claimed, an original composition, although I'm not sure who has taught him it.
One thing is certain: Until the appeal wears off, Lionel Richie will do just fine.
